July Workout Playlist: Is Easy Basic Step Really Easy?

Since I have been doing Japanese Walking I have been noticing the transformation. My knees haven’t been bothering me (though I don’t want to speak too loudly because I am afraid the pain will come back). However, I have been taking advantage of my knees feeling better and I have been getting back into other workouts. And one of those workouts is step aerobics. Ever since I have taken to doing step aerobics on YouTube and have been doing what I consider a basic step workout, it has really helped me.

One of my favorite step aerobics instructors is Christina Dorner. What I love about her workouts is how encouraging she is and she is always letting you know that it’s okay to make mistakes. And sometimes I really need to hear that because I am rhythmically challenging. But as you know I start back at the beginning level what I like about Christina Dorner’s workout is that you don’t feel like you are in the beginner level.

The workout is an Easy Basic Step Workout. The workout is 40 minutes and the average bpm for this workout is 128 bpm. Now my bpm in this workout has been as high as 150 bpm the lowest is 136 bpm. My first impression of this workout? I love it. The workout is the traditional step workout meaning there’s a warmup, there are three combination and of course a cool down.

What I love about this workout is that although the combinations are challenging they are still easy enough to learn. And more importantly between every combination there is a water break. The music is your typical aerobic workout and like I said before she is very encouraging throughout the workout. I would highly recommend this workout if you want a workout that will get your heart rate going and you will get a good workout in I would recommend this workout. Now if you are a real beginner to step aerobics I would recommend maybe a shorter workout and Christian has shorter step aerobics workout. This workout is a 10 out of 10.
